Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse Coordinator for the Kidney Transplant Department to provide patient assessments, education, and coordinate transplant care through all phases.

  • Perform assessments of psychological, physical, environmental, and functional needs.
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes.
  • Serve as a resource for education for patients, families, staff, and community.
  • Communicate with transplant team, hospital staff, and referring physicians.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and follow-up accurately.
  • Coordinate care during transplant process with team members.

    • Qualifications include RN licensure, at least 1 year of RN experience, BLS, and preferably a BSN. Most work involves phone communication with patients.
