Job Description
Summary:
The qualified Nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and delegating tasks as needed.
Meets competency expectations in leadership and nursing standards.
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
Addresses psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring side effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient information accurately and educates patients and families.
Requires a BSN (preferred), at least 1 year of related experience, valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Participates in orientation, competency validation, and maintains certifications within specified timeframes.
Full-time role with TBD work schedule.
