Job Description
Seeking an RN with at least 1 year of recent medical/surgical experience for home health nursing, offering an $8K sign-on bonus.
Provides intermittent nursing care in patients’ homes based on physician-approved plans of care, collaborating with patients and families.
Supervises Home Care Aides, develops and evaluates care plans, and ensures documentation compliance with regulations.
Performs assessments, educates patients/families, manages caseload efficiently, and maintains quality standards.
Ensures safety, manages emergencies calmly, and adheres to agency policies, including HIPAA and compliance protocols.
Maintains professional skills through ongoing education, CPR certification, and license renewal.
Supports agency programs, participates in committees, and may provide back-up on-call services.
Requires valid RN license in Connecticut, reliable transportation, and ability to work in various settings.
