Job Description
The qualified Nurse, with relevant clinical experience, practices independently, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. They demonstrate ongoing development in handling clinical contingencies and delegate tasks appropriately to care team members.
Meets competency expectations in self-leadership, team leadership, or leadership of teams.
Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—per standards.
Addresses patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs suited to their practice level.
Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Documents patient information accurately.
Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
BLS certification required.
Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
