Job Description
The Radiology Technologist – Special Procedures Technologist performs radiologic and specialized interventional procedures within the Cardiac/Cath Lab.
Responsibilities include positioning patients, performing angiography, cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, stent placements, and other vascular or cardiac procedures, while ensuring radiation safety.
Assists physicians with sterile techniques and post-operative care.
Requires 2 years of college, NYS radiologic license or permit, and ARRT certification if licensed after 2007.
Preferred experience in radiology and BLS certification.
Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and walking.
The position offers up to $20,000 sign-on bonus, Monday-Friday schedule, 40 hours/week, with call responsibilities.
