_*Primary Job Duties*_
* Assist physical therapists in conducting assessments to evaluate residents’ physical abilities, functional status, and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive assessments.
* Implement individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including physical exercises, activities, and interventions aimed at improving residents’ functional abilities and achieving treatment goals.
* Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to residents during therapy sessions, ensuring safety, proper technique, and optimal outcomes.
* Document resident progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
* Communicate effectively with physical therapists, nursing staff, and other team members to coordinate care, share information, and promote continuity of services.
* Collaborate with residents and their families to establish realistic goals, educate them on therapeutic techniques and strategies, and provide support and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process

_*Experience/Qualifications: *_
* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a physical therapy asistant in the state of Utah.
* For this role we’d prefer the applicant to have 1-2 years experience in this field. However, we strive to provide our staff with professional growth during their employment. For this role we will consider new grads with limited experience.
* Must be friendly, outgoing, and able to work efficiently and independently.
* Must have stamina to work full shifts and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day, including providing therapy to multiple residents and documenting training sessions accurately.
* Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
