Job Description
This occupational therapist position offers flexible hours with variable start and end times, typically an 8-hour shift, and as-needed weekend work. No on-call required.
Hourly pay ranges from $49.13 to $77.65, based on experience, skills, and other factors.
Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and administering occupational therapy treatments per physician prescriptions, helping patients achieve optimal functioning, and participating in departmental operations, quality improvement, and documentation.
Qualifications include a valid California Occupational Therapist license and AHA BLS certification. Preferred candidates have completed formal education in occupational therapy and experience in all therapy aspects. CCS paneling is required for NICU services within six months.
Key functions involve departmental development, accurate documentation, operational efficiency, patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and discharge planning.
