Job Title: Legislative Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze legislative issues affecting agriculture and rural communities.
• Assist in drafting policy proposals and position papers.
• Monitor and report on congressional activities and potential government shutdowns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback on legislative matters.
• Prepare briefing materials for Senator Sonnenberg and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Agriculture, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Colorado’s agricultural policies and legislative processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
