Job Title: Development Officer

The John Austin Cheley Foundation (DBA: A Thousand Summers) is seeking a skilled Development Officer to support our fundraising and development operations for an annual budget of approximately $1 million.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Manage donor relations and stewardship activities.
• Research and identify potential funding sources.
• Support grant writing and reporting processes.
• Coordinate fundraising events and campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in fundraising software and Microsoft Office.
