Mental Health Associate – Part Time (evening/midnight)

Job Description

Seeking a full-time Mental Health Associate to support behavioral health patients in emergency and medical units.
Responsibilities include understanding psychiatric diagnoses, conducting educational groups, performing safety rounds, and developing behavioral and safety plans.
Assist with crisis intervention, de-escalation, and physical management, including restraints or seclusion when necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare teams on treatment, discharge, and documentation, while promoting patient and staff safety.
Requires a B.S. in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or related field with 1 year of experience in nursing educational groups, or an A.S. in Mental Health Services with 3 years of experience.
Shift involves evening/midnight rotations, every other weekend and holiday, with occasional coverage at multiple locations.
