Job Description

This position involves providing high-quality imaging procedures in a safe, respectful, and efficient manner to patients and physicians.

  • Candidates must be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technology program and certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with BLS certification within 90 days.
  • Preference for at least one year of hospital experience, but training is available.
  • Must have knowledge of various x-ray equipment and computers, with training provided on specific tools and processes.
  • Physical requirements include operating equipment, assisting with patient movement, lifting up to 20 pounds, and maintaining radiation safety.
  • Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, documenting allergies and pregnancy status, ensuring patient dignity and safety, maintaining proper radiation precautions, and performing consistent, high-quality studies.
  • Teamwork, leadership, willingness to volunteer for overtime, and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
