Job Description
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides high-quality imaging services in a safe, respectful environment.
Candidates should have a Nuclear Medicine diploma or degree, be CNMT or NMTCN eligible, and have BLS certification within 90 days.
Preferably, candidates have at least one year of hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine, but training is available.
Must be able to operate equipment, assist with patient transfers, lift 20 pounds, and respond to urgent needs, including being available within 30 minutes for after-hours call.
Key responsibilities include verifying patient identity, documenting pregnancy risk, maintaining patient dignity, following safety protocols, and supporting team efforts.
Performance standards focus on accuracy, communication, teamwork, adherence to procedures, safety, and willingness to assist during downtime or overtime.
