Weatherford is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Assembler for our manufacturing facility on West Hardy Road, Houston, Texas. This hands-on role involves electro/mechanical assembly for the oil and gas industry within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced environment. Under general supervision, you will perform electro/mechanical assembly of moderate complexity following established procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and comply with Weatherford’s Enterprise Excellence Process and Quality Policy.
• Assemble and test completions equipment per engineered drawings.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Inspect components for accuracy and functionality.
• Conduct hydrostatic tests as needed.
• Handle materials and maintain tools and work area.
• Assist in developing and improving procedures.
• Use the PIRF System.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies.
• Complete assignments to the highest quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 2+ years of electrical/mechanical experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
• Ability to read assembly layouts and manufacturing prints.
• Proficient with measuring tools.
• Safe operation of material handling devices.
• General knowledge of assembly procedures.
• Effective team member.
• Knowledge of wiring schematics.
• Soldering experience required.
