Pay Range: $21.79 – $32.68

Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) conducts assessments, completes health histories, and ensures proper patient care and referrals. The LPN also identifies discharge planning needs and communicates patient progress.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in identifying patient needs and care priorities.
  • Demonstrate competency in department functions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Delegate nursing interventions appropriately.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
  • Communicate patient information effectively.
  • Participate in health education.
  • Assist in discharge planning.

Certification:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse | Minnesota Board of Nursing | Prior to Start Date
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association | Within 90 days of Start Date

Notes:

  • Temporary LPN license accepted.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.

Physical Demands:
Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, and bending. Continuous handling, seeing, and hearing.

Weight Demands:
Medium lifting (20-40 pounds).

Working Conditions:
Indoor environment.

Driving Requirement: Infrequent Driver
