Raytheon seeks a Software Infrastructure Engineer for our Satellite Ground Systems team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining software infrastructure, emphasizing automation and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate in an agile DevOps environment.
• Document software infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers on infrastructure.
• Prototype software scripts and cloud environments.
• Manage continuous delivery systems.
• Enhance software infrastructure.
• Support bids for future development.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5 years of experience.
• 5 years in IT Infrastructure/Software Engineering.
• 5 years with Linux.
• Experience with AWS and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Groovy).
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
• Active TS/SCI Full Scope Poly clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with VMWare and AWS.
• Java development experience.
• Knowledge of satellite ground systems.
• Experience with networking and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
• Degree in Computer Engineering or IT preferred.
