Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN), Inpatient Laboratory
Job Type: Part-time | 4-8 hour day shifts per week with rotating weekends (Saturdays only)/holidays, and call
Department Summary
The RN will provide direct care to patients and families primarily in the outpatient laboratory at our main campus. Responsibilities include venipunctures, blood collection, nasopharyngeal swabs, and Rh immune globulin injections. Limited inpatient and emergency department collections may be required. The role also involves training and competency assessment of staff. Shifts are primarily weekdays with rotating weekend coverage.

Qualifications
Applicants must have a current state RN license and a bachelors degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- 3 years of Medical/Surgical or comparable nursing experience
- Previous IV Therapy, Phlebotomy, and Medication Port access experience preferred
