Full-time, 36 hours per week. Weekend only. Rotating shifts.

The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in line with established policies and protocols, ensuring appropriate care for patients of all ages. The nurse coordinates patient care within the interdisciplinary team and educates patients for safe discharge.
Essential Job Functions:
Conducts daily rounds on all patients, ensuring quality customer service.
Develops care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
Assesses patient conditions and nursing needs, setting goals and prescribing actions.
Monitors and addresses patient pain promptly.
Identifies early warning signs of patient deterioration and responds appropriately.
Reports observations to the multidisciplinary team and documents accurately.
Maintains communication and educational opportunities with patients and families.
Begins discharge planning and education early.
Delegates nursing interventions as appropriate.
Performs additional duties as needed.
Certification:
Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to start date
Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 days of start date
Notes:
Temporary RN license accepted prior to start.
ND RN Graduate Work Authorization considered prior to start.
Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.
