*Previous experience in Women’s Services/OBGYN, L&D, NICU, ICN is required.*

The Registered Nurse delivers and oversees clinically appropriate care for patients, aligning with the Department of Nursing’s philosophy and the standards set by the American Nurses Association (ANA).

    • Minimum Education:

    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    Required Skills:

  • Current Virginia State RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (can be obtained during orientation)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (can be obtained during orientation)
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification (to be obtained within 6 months)

    • Minimum Work Experience:

    At least 2 years of experience in Women’s Services is required.
