EchoStar is seeking a Logistics Freight/Transportation Specialist for our Hughes Network Systems division in Germantown, MD. This role focuses on enhancing our logistics program by collaborating with carriers, forwarders, and brokers to optimize transit times and reduce costs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing rate quotes and arranging bookings.
  • Auditing and approving freight invoices.
  • Tracking shipping exceptions and managing claims.
  • Supporting the freight RFQ process.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Assisting with export/import operations.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field; experience in transportation rate negotiation.

Preferred Skills: Advanced Excel, export-import compliance knowledge, strong communication, and negotiation skills.

Eligible for discretionary bonus based on company performance.
