Position Summary
The perioperative RN advocates for patients, planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating nursing care during operative or invasive procedures. Collaborating with perioperative professionals, the RN utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment to address patients’ physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Oregon
- BLS certification upon hire
- Operating room experience required
- Scrub experience preferred
- Current perioperative nursing certificate preferred
Essential Job Functions
- Completes assignments from the charge nurse.
- Assesses Operating Room readiness and equipment.
- Develops and monitors patient care plans.
- Ensures patient safety and compliance with policies.
- Documents accurately per regulations.
- Manages healthcare resources responsibly.
- Maintains clinical competency and professional growth.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and EMR software.
