Pay Range: $32.19 – $48.28

Summary:
The Registered Nurse delivers direct nursing care following established policies and protocols. The nurse ensures they possess the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care, coordinates patient care within the interdisciplinary team, and educates patients for safe discharge.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Conducts daily patient rounds, ensuring quality service and addressing unmet needs.
  • Creates care plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Evaluates patient conditions and implements appropriate nursing actions.
  • Identifies early warning signs of patient deterioration and responds accordingly.
  • Communicates observations to the multidisciplinary team and documents accurately.
  • Initiates discharge planning and patient education early.
  • Delegates nursing tasks as appropriate.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Certification:

  • Registered Nurse | North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or Compact State Agreement | Prior to start date.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 days of start date.

Notes:

  • Temporary RN license accepted prior to start.
  • ND RN Graduate Work Authorization considered prior to start.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license before starting.
