PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Oversee the formulation process in the designated area, ensuring each batch meets identity, strength, quality, and purity standards. Maintain calibration and operation of all weighing, formulation, and filtration equipment within validated parameters.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform tasks such as sampling, mixing, and monitoring critical parameters.
  • Assist with weighing, formulation, and filtration per SOPs.
  • Accurately complete BPRs and document in-process testing.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Load and weigh raw materials; enter data into the computer.
  • Assist with filter changes and document mixing activities.
  • Execute rinsing and draining of tanks.
  • Ensure proper storage and identification of raw materials.
  • Perform maintenance during scheduled shutdowns.
  • Communicate with the Formulations team and escalate issues as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Regular attendance is essential; assist with projects as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Regular exposure to moving parts, high places, and chemicals; moderate noise levels.
  • Personal protective equipment required; frequent walking and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

SUPERVISION: None

EDUCATION: High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficient in mathematical concepts and manufacturing software.
