Delta Star delivers power solutions for utilities across North America, including medium-power transformers, mobile substations, and comprehensive engineering services. We ensure optimal performance for all transformer types through our Field Service unit.

We are currently seeking a Welder for a Full Time, Night Shift, Hourly Position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced welders.
• Read blueprints and weld components to specifications.
• Label work using assigned stencils.
• Weld parts using various welding processes.
• Operate overhead cranes and perform thermal cutting.
• Complete necessary paperwork.
• Repair and modify metal parts.
• Identify gases for welding.
• Assist with inspections and rework.

Minimum Requirements:

• Identify appropriate welding wire.
• Perform tests and repairs.
• Read and execute Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Pass 3G FCAW and 1G SMAW tests.
