Job Description

Delivers direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process, adhering to relevant standards of practice. Supervises, instructs, and delegates nursing care activities to other staff members.
Required Licenses: Registered Nurse
Current RN Licensure in Kentucky or multistate compact status.
Required Skills: Must demonstrate competency in designated areas per Internal Agency Grid, with Tier 2 RNs showing proficiency in over 85% of these areas.
- Current BLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Current ACLS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Current PALS Certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Pass an arrhythmia exam within 30 days of hire
- NIHSS Certification within 30 days of hire
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-stress environment. Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, is essential.
