As a Hair Stylist at Painted Sky, you’ll provide professional hair and makeup services for Guests aged 3-17 while ensuring exceptional Guest Service at Laniwai – A Disney Spa.

Receive a $1,500 Hiring Bonus (First payment after 90 days = $375; Second payment after 150 days = $1,125).

Eligibility for the bonus requires continuous employment for specified periods. Details apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional hair and makeup services
  • Understand product ingredients to prevent allergies
  • Maintain equipment and manage product usage
  • Educate Guests on services and products
  • Create tailored looks for events
  • Follow sanitation standards
  • Restock and clean work areas
  • Promote spa services and retail
  • Address Guest inquiries professionally
  • Respond promptly to Guest requests
  • Attend mandatory training sessions
  • Perform all services offered by Painted Sky

Basic Qualifications:

  • Skills: Handle sensitive situations independently
  • Licenses: Must hold a valid Hawaii Hair Stylist license
  • Disney Behaviors: Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Service Orientation: Enjoy engaging with Guests
  • Team Behaviors: Reliable and supportive of team members
  • Detail Orientation: Strong multitasking and observation skills
  • Communication: Strong verbal skills for engaging with Guests

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of the Resort and surrounding area

Additional Information:

AVAILABILITY:
This is a Part-Time role requiring full availability for at least three days a week, including weekends. Extended availability may be needed for training.
