LPN – Clinic II (Meds)

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and following Practitioner medical orders, provides direct and indirect nursing care in an outpatient setting.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Prepares and reviews medical records, identifies patient needs, and documents observations.
• Administers treatments, medications, and performs point-of-care testing as directed.
• Documents care provided and collaborates with RN/Practitioner to adjust care plans as necessary.
• Manages patient vaccine data and ensures compliance with immunization guidelines.
• Trains staff on procedures and maintains inventory of medical supplies.
• Participates in patient education and orientation of new personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• N/A
• Education: Hawaii State Board of Nursing approved curriculum for LPN licensure.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse (Hawaii) required at hire.
• Certification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Attention to detail and mathematical ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous nursing and clinic experience.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Location: Maui Lani Medical Offices, Hawaii
Hours: Part-time, 32 hours/week, variable shifts
