Job Description

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health – Night Shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

Sign-on Bonus: $20,000 Eligible

Position Overview:

  • Deliver direct patient care following nursing protocols and standards.

  • Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ physiological and psychosocial needs.

  • Document all patient care activities.

  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team and family.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

  • Assess and address educational needs of patients and families.

  • Administer and evaluate medication effectiveness.

  • Evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.

  • Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure from Virginia or a Compact State.

• Preferred experience in an acute care setting.

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
