Registered Nurse (RN), Med Surg Float
Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12-hour Shifts and Rotating Weekends
Up to $20,000 Sign-on Bonus
Department/Unit Summary
Join the Float Team at Conemaugh, where experienced nurses provide care across diverse patient populations. Daily assignments range from Medical/Surgical to Step-down and Behavioral Health. Opportunities also exist for caring for patients transitioning from ER and ICU. Our float team enjoys flexible scheduling with three 12-hour shifts weekly and a 50% weekend requirement, supported by advanced communication technology.

Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must have a current state RN license and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- 2 years of acute medical-surgical care experience
- BSN preferred
- Basic Dysrhythmia, Critical Care, Trauma, and Stroke Course preferred
- Experience in cardiac monitoring, neuro, critical care, and IV Therapy preferred
