Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Perform various departmental operations to ensure product and material control, documentation (BPR) management, and optimal product quality. Ensure product conformity to established SOPs, standards, specifications, and drawings using precision measuring tools and visual standards. Maintain process specifications and provide technical guidance to Production Operators while assisting the supervisor as needed.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work under limited supervision to plan, assign, and direct tasks for acceptable product flow.
  • Resolve moderately difficult issues requiring judgment and recommendations.
  • Monitor Production Operators and assist with training.
  • Manage line preparation, material control, and returns.
  • Distribute and review Batch Production Records.
  • Verify operations and quality system functions per SOP.
  • Notify Supervisor of quality and employee issues.
  • Assist with validations and engineering studies.
  • Engage with other departments and external organizations for information exchange.
  • Receive minimal instruction on routine tasks and general guidance on new assignments.
  • Support junior staff with complex tasks as directed.
  • Escalate issues to the supervisor as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean working area and adhere to Fresenius Policies.
  • Regular attendance is essential.
  • Comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable laws.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions; usually loud noise levels.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Must meet Fresenius’ vision requirements for product inspection.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals; write routine reports.
  • Proficient in basic math and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
