Grand Forks, ND 58201

Pay Range: $20.75 – $31.12

Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) conducts assessments, completes health histories, and ensures proper referrals. Responsibilities include discharge planning, patient care, and communication of patient progress.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in identifying patient needs and evaluating care plans.
  • Demonstrate competency in department functions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Delegate nursing interventions appropriately.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
  • Participate in health education and discharge planning.

Certification:

  • LPN License (NDBON or Compact State) prior to start.
  • LPN License (Minnesota) within 12 months.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • BLS Certification within 90 days.

Note:

  • Temporary LPN license accepted.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license prior to start.

Physical Demands:
Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, and handling tasks. Medium lifting (20-40 lbs).
