Associate Corporate Counsel

EchoStar is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel for our Hughes Network Systems division in Germantown, MD. This role involves providing legal, contractual, and regulatory support for the Hughes International and Mobilesat business groups, reporting to the VP of International Contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and negotiate contracts, NDAs, and agreements with various partners.
• Offer legal advice on contracts, telecommunications, trade compliance, and data privacy.
• Coordinate with legal experts on corporate governance and compliance.
• Assist with due diligence and training for international partners.
• Deliver training to the business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school and admission in at least one jurisdiction.
• 4-6 years of experience in commercial contracts or international transactions.
• Travel: 10% or less.

• Experience in telecommunications or satellite industry.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• High integrity and confidentiality.
