Department/Unit Summary
3 shifts: 6:45am-7:15pm and 6:45pm-7:15am in a 12-bed unit. New grads are welcome!
Essential Functions
- Administer medications and perform clinical treatments.
- Document patient care.
- Monitor and communicate patient conditions.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Coordinate patient care across disciplines.
- Provide patient/family education.
- Advocate for patient well-being.
- Adhere to safety and quality initiatives.

Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed acute hospital in Hickory, NC, part of Lifepoint Health, dedicated to making communities healthier.
Qualifications and requirements
Current state RN license required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Additional requirements:
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
- One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification preferred.
