Pay Range: $20.75 – $31.12

Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) conducts assessments, completes health histories, and ensures proper referrals. Responsibilities include patient care, discharge planning, and communication of patient progress.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in identifying patient needs and care priorities.
  • Demonstrate competency in department functions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Delegate nursing interventions appropriately.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
  • Communicate patient information effectively.
  • Participate in health education.
  • Assist in discharge planning.

Certification:

  • LPN License (NDBON or Compact State) – Prior to Start Date.
  • LPN License (Minnesota) – Within 12 Months of Start Date.
  • Driver’s License – Prior to Start Date.
  • BLS Certification – Within 90 Days of Start Date.

Note:

  • Temporary LPN license accepted.
  • Must hold an unencumbered nursing license.

Physical Demands:
Occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, and handling tasks. Continuous seeing and hearing.
Weight Demands:
Medium lifting (20-40 pounds).
Working Conditions:
Indoor environment.
Driving Requirement:
Occasional Driver.
