The Nurse Manager oversees 24/7 nursing practice and operations in assigned units, ensuring effective patient care, safety, and compliance with standards.
Develops and monitors unit goals, addresses issues, and implements corrective actions.
Advocates for patients and promotes staff professional development.
Ensures regulatory adherence, participates in policy development, and collaborates across departments.
Recruits, evaluates, and mentors staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Manages staffing, training, and competency assessments to meet patient and staff needs.
Contributes to budgeting, resource utilization, and process improvement initiatives.
Demonstrates leadership in emergency planning and quality assurance.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, RN license, and BLS certification.
