Job Description

Seeking a local contract RN Oncology nurse for a 52-week night shift position in Grapevine, TX, starting 08/18/2025.

  • Specialty: Oncology, Discipline: RN, Schedule: 12-hour nights, 36 hours/week, includes 4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks.

  • Requires 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in PCU, with BLS certification.

  • Unit is a fast-paced 20-bed PCU/Oncology unit with high-acuity patients, including chemo, post-op, and palliative care, with patient ratios of 1:4-5.

  • Responsibilities include patient assessment, care plan development, education, and collaboration with healthcare teams, emphasizing safety and patient-centered care.

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and compliance with nursing standards are essential.
