Hospice Registered Nurse RN Full Time 7500K Sign On Bonus

Job Description

Seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse with a $7500 sign-on bonus, primarily serving Jefferson County, AL.

Responsibilities include managing pain and symptoms, assessing patient and family needs, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring quality hospice services.

• Ensure timely delivery of hospice care within the care plan.
• Conduct assessments during home visits and document findings.
• Collaborate with the team and attending physicians to develop and update care plans.
• Supervise hospice aides and LPNs, ensuring compliance and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations, monitor patient eligibility, and assist with certifications.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards and participate in ongoing education.
• Support community education and manage supplies efficiently.

Qualifications include a current Alabama RN license, at least one year of medical/surgical experience, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.
