The role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team to improve fine and gross motor skills, play, social, and self-care abilities.
Requirements:
- OT degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics.
- Background clearance, TB test, CPR/First Aid certification, and current OT license.
- Good physical health for manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication and empathy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat motor and functional impairments in pediatric clients.
- Create tailored treatment plans and prescribe home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in professional development.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage schedules effectively.
