Position Summary: The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehabilitation care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, following applicable laws and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
Active state registration/licensure required
Preferred one year of experience in post-acute care
CPR certification required upon hire
Specific Job Requirements:
Engage in community health projects
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Coordinate with patients and families for care planning
Maintain professional relationships and confidentiality
Adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct
Essential Functions:
Follow treatment plans and chart accurately
Provide excellent customer service
Participate in patient evacuation and interdisciplinary teamwork
Demonstrate regular attendance and effective communication skills
