This position is a floater role requiring travel to various facilities in the Birmingham Metropolitan area to provide physical therapy services. The therapist will ensure high-quality care while supervising therapy assistants and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Deliver physical therapy based on physician’s care plans.
  • Assess and evaluate patients’ therapeutic needs.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on therapy and equipment use.
  • Participate in discharge planning and case conferences.
  • Supervise therapy assistants and maintain communication with care teams.

    • Qualifications:

  • Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license and two years of clinical experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle for travel.
