Community Health Registered Nurse – PRN

Job Description

This position involves conducting blood pressure screenings at senior centers, requiring 10-16 hours of work per week, Monday through Thursday. The role includes providing nurse consultations and community health services to various populations, maintaining knowledge of contract terms, assessing client needs, and creating health plans. Responsibilities also encompass service documentation, health education program implementation, and cross-training in community health programs. Candidates must hold a current RN license in Iowa, possess a nursing degree, and have at least two years of relevant clinical experience. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations are essential.

• Current RN license for Iowa
• Nursing degree preferred with 2 years of clinical experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
