This job involves evaluating the anatomy and pathophysiology of the cardiac system using diagnostic ultrasound. Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or a related medical field and work towards ARDMS registry certification within 36 months of hire. Current CPR certification is also required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining and reviewing patient history and clinical data.
  • Performing cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages.
  • Providing summaries of technical findings to interpreting physicians.
  • Maintaining knowledge of ultrasound imaging and related modalities.
  • Adhering to safety, courtesy, quality, and efficiency standards.
  • Additional skills include effective communication, data organization, and the ability to lift patients and equipment. Continuous learning and compliance with hospital policies are essential.
