Clinical Pharmacist – Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy Per Diem

Boston Children’s Outpatient Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist to join their team. This role involves:

• Interpreting and evaluating medication orders for appropriateness and potential adverse reactions.
• Reviewing, filling, and dispensing physician medication orders.
• Verifying prescriptions filled by support staff and resolving prior authorizations.
• Providing drug information and patient education.
• Completing medication history documentation and performing quality improvement activities.
• Supervising support personnel to ensure compliance with procedures.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, at least one year of experience, and a current Massachusetts pharmacy license. Experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory is preferred. The position requires M-F day shift coverage and is part-time, per diem, onsite only.
