Overview: The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for airway management, administering nebulized medications, managing secretions, and applying oxygen therapy as per physician orders for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates therapy effectiveness while communicating with the healthcare team.
