Location: Fort Worth Urgent Care Center
Department: Child Life
Shift: Second Shift (40 hours/week)

Summary: The Child Life Specialist at the Urgent Care Center is responsible for providing life experiences, family support, and education to patients and families. This role involves collaboration with healthcare providers and the community to promote growth and facilitate positive adjustments during healthcare experiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Child Life, Child Development, or related field
  • Completion of a child life internship
  • Preferred previous experience as a Child Life Specialist
  • Certification as a Child Life Specialist (or eligible within one year)
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire
