Job Description

The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Advocate at Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority (NLCMHA) plays a vital role in promoting recovery and gentleness within the community. This position involves providing intensive case management and problem-solving interventions for clients, coordinating community-based treatment, and participating in interdisciplinary service planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing assessments and develop treatment plans for clients.
• Educate clients on mental health and medication management.
• Provide direct clinical care, including counseling and crisis intervention.
• Engage in community education and advocacy for individuals with mental illness.
• Maintain licensure and participate in professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Nursing.
• Licensed as a Bachelor Social Worker in Michigan.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation: $56,450 – $64,950 annually, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, retirement plans, and paid time off.
