The New Graduate Registered Nurse is a full-time position that includes a one-year Nurse Residency Program designed to help new graduates transition into professional nursing. Participants will engage in a mix of on-the-job training and classroom education, fostering collaboration with peers on projects aimed at improving patient care. The program emphasizes Clinical Leadership, Patient Safety, and the Professional Role of a Registered Nurse, culminating in an evidence-based practice project. Responsibilities include patient care, delegation, and participation in research.

**Qualifications:**
– Licensed as RN in Illinois
– Current BLS/CPR certification
– Ability to perform patient care duties, including IV insertion and IM injections, while managing exposure to hazardous materials.
