Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering nursing care to a designated group of patients during a specific shift, utilizing the nursing process for assessment and intervention. Key responsibilities include:

• Effective communication with patients and team members.
• Promoting compassionate and quality patient care.
• Incorporating teaching principles and demonstrating health promotion skills.
• Applying leadership and critical thinking in nursing practice.
• Maintaining human care relationships and understanding the human experience of health.
• Floating to other departments as needed.

Requirements include an ADN (BSN preferred), active RN license in Vermont, one year of medical-surgical experience (preferred), and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI within specified timeframes.
