Job Description

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse coordinates and implements patient care tailored to the specific age group of the assigned units, ensuring quality and safe care in line with unit standards. The role emphasizes respect and effective communication with staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licenses: Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license; BLS certification required within 2 weeks of hire.
• Skills: Knowledge of patient rights, clear communication, and age-appropriate care.
• Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases; flexible working hours.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle emergencies, extensive standing/walking, and manual dexterity.
