Job Description

Overview:
As a Registered Nurse-ED, you will provide comprehensive care to a designated group of patients, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation tailored to their age and needs.

Qualifications:
Must hold a current RN license in Illinois and obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) are preferred within 1 year and required within 2 years.

Experience:
12 months of RN experience is required for Clinical Ladder promotion, with varying credit ranges for different Clinical Nurse levels.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, perform bedside procedures, initiate IV access, assist with physician procedures, and ensure effective communication with the ED team.
