> REF:#fb26b1bd5e43c870Position Summary: The role involves assessing and treating patients with illness, injury, or impairments to enhance their daily living skills, including grooming, eating, and mobility. The therapist develops and monitors care plans, collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, and administers occupational therapy modalities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy.
- Licenses: Current New Mexico Occupational Therapy licensure & BLS certification.
- Skills: Strong assessment, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience: Preferred one year in Occupational Therapy.
Environment: Clean, well-ventilated, smoke-free; potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
Physical Requirements: Good physical condition; ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
